Caring for your New Boat Name

  1. Waxing- The number 1 reason lettering gets damaged or peels up is caused from improper use of a buffer while detailing. When you or your detailer are waxing over artwork & lettering please be sure to only hand wax the areas. Certain high performance material has protective coatings that could also get damaged.
  2.  Pressure Cleaning- Never allow any one to pressure clean over the lettering, it will damage the material and ruin the design.
  3. Lines- When securing your boat in its slip, make certain that the lines do not rub across or against the lettering, especially in times of extreme weather.
  4. Floating Docks- I have seen it so many times, lettering ruined by the scraping of the floating dock rubbing against the side of the boat while you are docked.
